Service Analyst

The Service Analyst position at ExampleCorp is a challenging and rewarding role that helps our customers with a wide variety of needs. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, and you will need to be able to handle everything from product questions to technical support. This is a fast-paced environment, and you will need to be able to think on your feet and provide solutions quickly. If you are a people person who enjoys a challenge, this is the job for you!

Key Responsibilities

The following areas of focus will be central to your role in this position:

  • Provide analysis of business processes and problems, and recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.
  • Liaise with business users to understand their requirements and pain points, and to document these requirements in a user-friendly way.
  • Work with the development team to ensure that the solutions delivered meet the business requirements.
  • Provide support to business users during the testing and implementation phases of projects.
  • Monitor the performance of systems after implementation and t make recommendations for improvements where necessary.
  • Prepare documentation such as business requirements, functional specifications, and user manuals.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following attributes:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.•
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a Service Analyst role, or a similar role in the IT field.
  • Knowledge of computer system operation and configuration, including hardware, software, and network components.
  • Experience with customer service-oriented roles and the ability to effectively communicate with clients.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Knowledge and experience with a variety of IT concepts and technologies.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and other IT service management frameworks.
