Salesforce Administrator

The position of Salesforce Administrator at ExampleCorp is a challenging and rewarding role that helps our customers with a wide variety of needs. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, and you will need to be able to handle everything from product questions to technical support. Key Responsibilities

The following areas of focus will be central to your role in this position:

  • Work with management to establish strategic direction, objectives, and key performance indicators for the environment.
  • Implement, maintain, and administer Salesforce.com applications including but not limited to creating custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, record types, page layouts, reports, dashboards, workflows, approval processes, sharing rules, security settings, and user profiles.
  • Maintain data quality and integrity within the Salesforce.com environment through data cleansing, de-duping, and other data management techniques.
  • Configure and manage advanced features such as Salesforce.com API, data imports/exports, data loads from legacy systems, customizations, etc.
  • Develop and maintain user training materials and conduct training sessions on an as-needed basis.
  • Participate in special projects as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following attributes:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Salesforce Administrator or a related role.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field.
  • Salesforce Administrator (ADM201) and Salesforce Advanced Administrator (ADM211) certification.
  • Proficient in using the Salesforce platform, including Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce configurations, including custom objects, fields, record types, page layouts, workflows, validation rules, and user permissions.
  • Experience with Salesforce automation tools, such as Process Builder, Flow, and Lightning Process Builder.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce security model, including profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.
  • Ability to troubleshoot Salesforce issues and solve complex problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
