Key Responsibilities

The following areas of focus will be central to your role in this position:

• Support end users with installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, software, and other computer-related technologies
• Coordinate with internal and external resources to resolve complex technical issues
• Maintain inventory of all hardware, software, and licenses
• Create and maintain internal documentation including process and procedure manuals
• Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated, approaches for system administration tasks
• Perform routine audits of systems and software
• Maintain data backups and disaster recovery solutions
• Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems
• Provide Tier 2 and 3 technical support to end users
• Monitor, test, and troubleshoot complex computer networks

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following attributes:

• 1+ years in a customer service or technical support role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic knowledge of computers and common software applications
• Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues
• Patience and a desire to help others
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
