• A minimum of five years of professional work experience as a data engineer or in a role with similar responsibilities.
• Expertise in data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL.
• A strong understanding of SQL and experience with at least one major relational database management system (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with at least one major non-relational database management system (e.g. MongoDB, Cassandra, Hadoop).
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop, Spark, MapReduce).
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Qlikview, D3.js).
• Experience with data analysis and statistical methods.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g. Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
